Your
calculation method
determines the details you need to enter to calculate your fuel tax credit entitlement. For each fuel type you are claiming, you need to provide the quantity of litres you have purchased (acquired) and select either of the following calculation options.
Basic calculation method
- Select this option if you are using either the constructive or deductive method to determine your eligible litres. You will need to provide the quantity of eligible litres for each business fuel use.
Percentage use method
- Select this option if you are using either the percentage use method or the small claimant (estimated use) method. You will need to provide a percentage for each eligible business fuel use.
